A Guide to Choosing your
Gainsborough Bath
You have told us that:
Bather can't cross a low threshold
Please select an option (or start again)
- Bather would be able to seat themselves and operate taps and controls
The Windsor 2 or Windsor3 baths will lift the pivot-mounted seat, traverse across to the bath and lower it into the water.
Our Windsor 3 also has a leg lifter that raises the bather's legs on a moulded pad, offering full support and comfort.
- Bather would not be able to seat themselves and operate taps and controls
The Windsor 1 bath is designed to be operated by a carer since the traverse across to the bath is manual. However, we have in addition a wide range of options to provide a good working environment for carers, and to meet special demands.
All our power baths with seats, apart from the Cambridge Plus, have a corner-mounted seat in which the bather sits once the bath has been filled. The seat lifts, traverses and then lowers the bather into the bath.
