An integrated bathing system designed specifically for intensive use in hospitals and care homes. The Kent rising bath with transfer seat addresses both the needs of the carer and the client. The seat not only lowers to a convenient height for wheelchair or hoist access, but also lifts the client into the bath with ease. The bath height is fully adjustable to ensure a comfortable working height for the carer and the surfaces are easy to clean and maintain.
Combining a Hi-Lo bath with a powered seat the Kent offers the best of all worlds - both client and carer are able to use the bath simply, in comfort and total safety. The seat lowers outside the bath to allow easy access and exit, and comes with a choice of arm rests. The Kent is also available with an optional mobile seat transfer system, for transporting the bather from the bed to the bath with minimum handling and lifting. This is ideal where the patient may have limited mobility or is unable to assist themselves.
The Kent is WRAS certified (no. 0904065 with shower, 0904064 without shower)

Operation
Stress-free bathing in just a few steps! Lower the chair outside the bath to a convenient height and seat the client. Once comfortable, the carer presses a button and the chair lifts the patient over the bath. The carer is then able to raise the bath - already full of water, and can wash the bather in comfort without straining themselves.
When finished, the bath full of water is lowered. The seat can then be lowered outside the bath to allow the patient to be transferred away from the bath.
