WRAS Certification

The WATER REGULATIONS ADVISORY SCHEME (WRAS) does not apply to baths.

It does however apply to all fittings on baths such as:

• taps
• bath fillers
• shower attachments

In other words, anything that is to be connected to the mains water supply.

Baths that are supplied fully fitted with plumbing equipment as standard are tested by WRAS as one unit. All such baths in the Gainsborough range use WRAS compliant products. This applies to Ascot, Henley, Kent, Lincoln and Malvern baths.

Water Authorities may refuse permission for non-certificated items to be connected to the mains water supply.

All fittings supplied by Gainsborough Baths Ltd conform fully with WRAS requirements.
