Gainsborough was on-hand to demonstrate a selection of its specialist powered baths at the recent Care Show exhibition in Birmingham.

With around 3,000 visitors expected to visit this year’s exhibition, Care Show is regarded as the biggest trade event in the UK care sector. As such, it offers care providers and care professionals the chance to source specialist advice and see the latest products designed to meet the increasing challenges of the modern care environment.

Gainsborough’s stand, which included some of our popular Assisted Baths such as our Lincoln powered baths, allowed delegates the chance to get hands-on experience of these baths and their key features. The Windsor 3, a fixed-height bath for assisted living and residential care settings, incorporates powered seat transfer and a unique leg-raiser unit to provide full leg support. The Lincoln, which is fully height-adjustable, comes with an integrated changing, bathing and drying platform and is designed specifically for nursing care where spinal stability or specialised treatments is required. In addition to the Windsor 3 and Lincoln baths, the Gainsborough team also unveiled its new hi-lo powered bath – The Dorset. This brand new bath, which will available in the new year, uses the latest bathing technology and includes variable height adjustment, powered seat transfer and a host of other new features to ensure the optimum safety and comfort of both carers and bathers.
